Speaker Biography

B Sanborn is an interdisciplinary educator, facilitator, and researcher with a background in anthropology, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and environmental psychology. As Design Research Leader and Principal, they lead DLR Group’s integrated Design Research practice and internal R+D Grant investment program. B’s research currently focuses on cognitive and hormonal experiences in the workplace and the end-user value of transdisciplinary research-informed design processes; they also maintain a longstanding research interest in the social and business outcomes of coworking design. 

B is Chair Elect of the Environmental Design Research Association, a National Allied Member of AIA, and sit on the Center for Health Design’s EDAC Advisory Council. B is an active part of the Workshape Labs community, the American Psychological Association’s Climate Change Knowledge Community and the APA’s Research Network for Resilient PreK-12 Schools.
